Ibstock Plc is a brick making business. The company was founded in 1899 at Ibstock in Leicestershire as a coal mining business and bought Redland's brick manufacturing business in 1996. A majority stake in the business was acquired by CRH in 1998 with the balance of the shares being bought by CRH in October 2011.
