Headlines said the FTSE racked up 8 days of gains and all stock picks were a mix of 80% BUY, 10% HOLD and 10% SELL.

1. BUY Totally

Top interesting tip this week is BUY Totally by Canaccord Genuity with a tip performance of a huge 13%.

The healthcare provider listed at a massive 9014p in 2000, popped up to 9,357p in the same month and has made its way steadily down. Totally share price is 19p, a far cry from the dizzying heights of 2000.

Busy times for the healthcare provider lately. Totally signed a contract with NHS Wales to reduce waiting times. 2 weeks ago, Totally won an Irish contract for £650k for urology services. Again, a fortnight ago we read the press releases that it’s the first NHS provider to go into the cloud. Three weeks ago, £16k of shares were bought by insider Robert Holt.

The BUY rating is not a change in rating by Canaccord rather a reaffirmation with no target price change which has been 18.5p since the first rating back in 2018.

Two analysts have ratings in Stockomendation which are both BUY, being Canaccord Genuity and Royston Wild of The Motley Fool. There are no active short positions open.

2. AVOID Pagegroup

Second interesting top tip this week is AVOID Pagegroup by Emma Powell in The Times - Tempus with a tip performance of 4%.

The recruiter has given a profit warning of a possible 29% drop in 2023 full year results due to the job market and economic outlook. All regions are down except MENA.

The Surrey recruiter listed at 180p in 2001 and is now at 441p.

Emma Powell rated Pagegroup as BUY in 2021 and only updated that now with this most recent AVOID tip.

5 ranging analyst opinions in Stockomendation – Emma Powell says AVOID, Jefferies says UNDERPERFORM, Kepler Chevreaux says HOLD, RBC Capital says OUTPERFORM and Numis says BUY. There are no active short positions open in Stockomendation.

3. BUY CVS Group

Third interesting stock pick this week was BUY CVS Group by Royston Wild in The Motley Fool with a tip performance of 3%.

CVS Group share price listed at 231p in 2007 and is now at 2002p. It is a veterinary and laboratory chain in the UK, Netherlands and Ireland.

Royston Wild has placed 16 BUY tips since his first tip in 2015 on CVS Group.

The big news this week seems to be the appointment of an executive to its insurance division. Changing the fortunes on what would have been a mediocre Tuesday the announcement of the hire pushed the share price upwards 0.5%.

Four of four analysts rate it as BUY in Stockomendation being Royston Wild, Emma Powell, Numis and Berenberg. There are no active short positions open.
