1. AVOID Tasty

Top stock pick this week AVOID Tasty by Steve Moore in ShareProphets with a tip performance of an extraordinary 50%.

Tasty is the brand behind restaurants Dim T and Wildwood. It has 54 restaurants and was founded in 2006. Tasty share price launched at 101p on AIM in 2006 under the ticker TAST, reached an all-time high of 187p in 2015 and is today at 1p.

On 9 April Tasty announced it would be closing 22 of its restaurants in this RNS to stop losses as well as agreed a loan agreement and restructuring plan.

In his article Moore notes the weak balance sheet and set of conditions that would enable the restructuring to work.

Steve Moore is the only analyst in Stockomendation and there are no active short positions open.


2. BUY Impax Asset Management

Second stock pick this week is BUY Impax Asset Management Group by Berenberg with a tip performance of 6%.

Impax Asset Management is a specialist asset manager that focuses on green or climate assets.

Impax Asset Management share price listed on AIM at 38p in 2001, reached an all-time high of 1,442p in 2001 and is today at 477p. Berenberg reiterated its BUY rating on 9 April on the same day this tup was issued as well as this Q2 AUM Update RNS.

3. EQUAL WEIGHT Croda

Third interesting stock pick this week is EQUAL WEIGHT Croda International by Barclays with a tip performance of 5%

Croda International plc is a British speciality chemicals company based at Snaith, England. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker CRDA.

Croda International share price launched at 217p in 1988, reached an all-time high of 10,410p in 2021 and is today at 4,880p.

Shares in Croda tumbled 18% in 2023 however analysts are mixed about the company’s future, some seeing it as a bargain.
